This Preliminary information communicates to the dealers information related to a MIL on with DTC's P0365 Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit / DTC P0366 Exhaust Camshaft Position System Performance stored current or in history. It advised the dealership technician to clear the codes, cycle the Exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor connection and retest for the code resetting. If the code does not reset, it advises the dealership technician to release the vehicle. If the codes reset, it advised the dealership technician to perform Strategy Based Diagnosis for the concern.
