THIS PRELIMINARY INFORMATION COMMUNICATION PROVIDES INFORMATION TO THE TECHNICIAN ABOUT THE OIL PAN ON A RE-MANUFACTURED HIGH FEATURE V6. ENGINES RE-MANUFACTURED AFTER 2016-FEBRUARY-1 WERE BUILT WITH THE INCORRECT OIL PAN. IF THE ENGINE IS BUILT WITH A 12638371 FWD OIL PAN AND SHOULD HAVE A 12592105 RWD OIL PAN. TECHNICIAN WILL REPLACE THE OIL PAN WITH THE PAN FROM THE ORIGINAL ENGINE OR A NEW PAN IF THE ORIGINAL IS UNUSABLE.
