Bulletin Summary
N192265370 - Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles may accumulate water in the rear compartment battery tub. This could occur from leaving a deck lid open in inclement weather, ice chest spillage, or water leak. Water intrusion into the DC/DC converter, which is located in the battery tub, could damage it. This corrective action will provide an exit path for water which entered the battery tub.Dealers are to install two drains in the battery tub to prevent accumulation of water.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
