Bulletin Summary
N192257100 - EM - General Motors has decided to conduct a voluntary emissions recall involving certain 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and GMC Sierra vehicles equipped with a performance air intake system. The required Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label may not have been installed. Since a new label can be easily installed, and to reduce customer inconvenience, the label will be sent directly to customers of record along with the installation instructions. Customers may install the label or, if they desire, they may take the label to their dealer for installation at no charge.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
