The recuperation restriction warning is displayed in the instrument cluster. The following fault is stored in the engine control unit: 0x3A40D0 - Restriction of recuperation, available battery charging capacity The warning indicates that only limited recuperation is possible. It may be necessary to apply the brake toachieve a deceleration that is normally achieved with recuperation. When the warning is displayed: The warning is displayed when the possible recuperation is less than or equal to 30%. The warning is also displayed when the battery temperature is below 50°F (10 °C) or above 113°F (45 °C).
