Bulletin Summary
SERVICE BULLETIN M1632: ECM CALIBRATION UPDATE TO ADDRESS: CRANK, NO START. PURPOSE: Revision. Updated: Purpose for Service Bulletin, Vehicles Affected, Part Numbers and Credit Procedure. Removed 2024 Models (FLHX, FLTRX) as they are superseded by bulletin M1645. PURPOSE: To inform the dealer network that there is an Electronic Control Module (ECM) update available for 2023 CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE), CVO Road Glide (FLTRXSE) and 2024 CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE), CVO Road Glide (FLTRXSE) and CVO Road Glide ST (FLTRXSTSE). This update is to address a Crank, No Start concern that results in no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) populating after the crank cycle is complete and requiring an Ignition cycle to correct. NOTE: 2024 Street Glide (FLHX) and Road Glide (FLTRX) models were included on this bulletin prior to May 2, 2024. Those models have been removed from this bulletin as the ECM software update for those models are now covered under Service Bulletin M1645 which will include the correction for this Crank, No Start condition as well as the information covered in M1645.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
