Complaint When unpacking vehicles with magno night black paint (code 056U) from the full transportation packaging, the paintwork may exhibit white stains/shades on the hood. These are mainly present on the hood, fenders and the bumpers. Cause Moisture ingress under the full transportation packaging can lead to it penetrating the fresh paint thereby causing it to swell up. Easily visible, white stains/shades on the paint surface would be the consequence. Remedy Carefully heat any prominent areas using a heat gun (up-to 900°F, at distance of approx. 3-5 inches), it may be necessary to repeat this process several times. Use a maximum of 120 °C for component parts made of plastic, such as bumpers. If this method does not provide a remedy, the paint structure is irreversibly damaged and not repairable. In such instances, the component part must be repainted. IMPORTANT! Make sure that no seals or other heat-sensitive component parts in the working area or behind the component part are damaged.
