Both of the following fault codes are stored in Digital Motor Electronics (DME) memory: 1B2002: ""EWS protection against tampering: no starting value programmed"" 1F1A51: ""DME, internal fault: Read EEPROM faulty"" Note: Only vehicles with DME MEVD17.2.3 produced or programmed to Integration levels: F02x-16-03-50x - F02x-16-07-50x - F02x-16-11-50x are affected. Ineffective DME software."
