Bulletin Summary
The front seats on some vehicles (equipped with 6-way power seats) may not slide forward or backward when operating the power seat slide switch. This concern may be caused by a previous power seat switch shape modification where the strength was insufficient and caused the switch lever to break, resulting in inoperative seat operation. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the power seat switch has been returned to its previous shape.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
