Bulletin Summary
Flash: Motor Control Processor A (MCP A) Updates 6B3 Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle may exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● P1E18-00 - Internal Control Module Electronic Park Performance. ● P1625-00 - Park Pawl System Failure. ● P1626-00 - Park Pawl Motor Stuck. NOTE: If DTCs P1E25-00, P1625-00 or P1626-00 are active, the vehicle will stay in READY mode since the Electric Vehicle Control Unit (EVCU) is not able to confirm if the park pawl is engaged, and the vehicle will be secured. ● P0A78-00 - Drive Motor A Inverter Performance. ● P0A79-00 - Drive Motor B Inverter Performance. Customers may also comment on one or more of the following: ● Vehicle is not shutting off and draining the 12V battery. ● Unable to start the vehicle. This bulletin involves reprogramming the IDCM, BPCM, MCP A, MCP B and the EVCU with the latest available software and then performing a Wheel End Disconnect Position Learn routine.
