Bulletin Summary
Max Tow Right and Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensors Inoperable Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● C003A-62 - Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure. ● C0037-62 - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure. ● C003A-2F - Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic. ● C0037-2F - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic. Customers may experience one or more of the following: ● The check engine light illuminates. ● The ABS light illuminates. ● The traction control light illuminates. ● The forward collision warning lamps light illuminates. ● The 4WD unavailable message on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). ● Vehicle might not shift from drive to park or vice versa. The vehicle safe hold systems are in place if the vehicle does not shift to park. ● Vehicle will not shut off. This bulletin involves replacing both rear wheel speed sensors.
