Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V512000 (Power Train). The vehicle was taken to a dealer for maintenance, and was diagnosed and determined that there was a sheared off bolt in the hub cap. The contact was advised not to drive the vehicle, and the vehicle remained at the dealer for approximately one month. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
