NHTSA Complaint #11712629 — 2023 NISSAN ROGUE

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the cabin of the vehicle, and there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine compartment. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the message "Engine Failure" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer several times however; the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,931.
