NHTSA Complaint #11709992 — 2019 FORD F-150

My F150 is having problems shifting gears. Most prevalent in the lower gears when accelerating. It hesitates as it shifts, up or down, and then creates a loud thud and jerks the truck, as it finally shifts. You can feel it during other gears, as when downshifting to climb a hill. There is a loss of drive during this shifting hesitation, and this creates a safety issue when pulling out into traffic. I have contacted the local Ford dealership, and they stated that I needed to bring it in for a transmission evaluation. I booked the earliest appointment, but it is five weeks out.
