Consumer Description
This is a complaint regarding an inadequate recall remedy for Recall Z75 (NHTSA 24V-538). The manufacturer's software update rendered my 2017 Pacifica Hybrid inoperable due to DTC P0C77. While the battery was ultimately replaced under warranty, the manufacturer is refusing to reimburse $1,948.74 in rental expenses despite a prior verbal commitment to do so. This constitutes a failure to provide a 'free and effective remedy' as required by federal law for safety recalls.
