NHTSA Complaint #11707722 — 2022 JEEP WRANGLER

The dealership refuses to perform the 68c recall for my 4xe wrangler, [XXX] They said they are worried that there will be a glitch with the recall and they will have to hold on to my jeep for 3-4 weeks until a battery replacement is available. They don’t want to do this because there are already 3 cars in the dealership awaiting the same battery replacement. Given the seriousness of the recall (battery fires), this seems like an unsafe response to the recall. They mentioned they’ve been turning multiple cars away with this recall and that they have other recalls for other models to also worry about.
