Consumer Description

I was driving my vehicle when the check engine light came on and a message then came across the screen and stated the truck would no longer shift if I didn’t stop driving it. I took It immediately to Autonation Chevrolet Service on Nov 9. I received it back on 11/26 my service advisor said it passed inspection that no work was completed I needed to use high synthetic oil and filters for my truck to keep it going. This doesn’t sound correct when I’ve owned several Chevy/GMC trucks. I only have 33k miles on my truck and want the recall fixed. Please help me get this taken care of.
