NHTSA Complaint #11700288 — 2022 CHEVROLET BLAZER

Driving the vehicle when all of a sudden the engine shut off. All electrical systems continued to function. Luckily this occurred at low speed in a parking lot but had it happened at high speed on the freeway it could have been a huge safety risk. The vehicle was towed to a nearby automotive shop that diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump controller. There is an open GM recall that includes the 2021 Chevy Blazer (and a suite of other GM vehicles), but not the 2022 Chevy Blazer. I am concerned that the GM recall does not fully cover all of the vehicles that could be impacted by this issue.
