The contact stated that the failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall; however, the model year was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
