Consumer Description
Since August 6, 2025, my vehicle has been under a safety recall and has been unusable for over three months. The recall notice states that the remedy is not yet available, and there is no estimated date for when repairs will be completed. I have contacted Nissan multiple times seeking assistance, including requests for a loaner vehicle, rental reimbursement, or buyback, but Nissan has refused to help or provide any interim solution. As a result, I have been without the use of my car for several months due to a manufacturer’s safety defect. Summary of Issues: •Recall active since August 6, 2025 •Remedy not available; no repair timeline provided •Vehicle cannot be safely driven •Manufacturer refuses to assist with transportation, rental, or buyback I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance and investigation into this matter, as it is unreasonable that a safety recall leaves an owner without a vehicle for such an extended period without any remedy or support. Thank you for your attention to this urgent safety concern.
