NHTSA Complaint #11689325 — 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY

My Honda's multipurpose camera system has failed without warning or apparent cause. Upon starting my vehicle, I now receive multiple alert lights indicating simultaneous failures in critical safety systems including: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) Collision Mitigation System Road Departure Mitigation System Auto High Beam functionality Occasionally, all the system failure alerts go away. According to my local Honda dealership, this represents an "internal failure" of the multipurpose camera unit (code U300-49). The dealership wants >$2,000 to fix the issue that appears to be a widespread known problem. There was no warning before the complete system shutdown, and all safety features connected to this camera are now non-functional.
