NHTSA Complaint #11687437 — 2023 HONDA CR-V

On [XXX], at approximately [XXX]. I was traveling down the [XXX] . It was a clear morning and the traffic was light. There were no warning signs or messages displayed prior to the glass shattering. It was startling as I was going 70-75 mph when this happened. While driving my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport on the morning of [XXX], the sunroof glass exploded. After the dealerships inspection, I was informed that repairs were not covered by warranty or recall. As stated previously it was a clear morning, the traffic was light and there was nothing near me that could have dropped on my roof and shattered my sunroof. I have included pictures for your review. On 9/15/25 at 11:30am I spoke to Honda Corporation customer service. I was informed that at this time there is no open warrantee for this issue. She stated it had been reported to Honda.
