NHTSA Complaint #11685766 — 2021 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2021 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the rearview camera intermittently went blank while the vehicle was shifted into reverse(R). The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called the dealer to schedule an appointment for an oil change, and the contact inquired about the status of the recall, and the contact was informed that there was no longer a recall listed for the VIN. The contact stated that the vehicle was never serviced for the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
