Consumer Description

I was driving on the highway at 55 mph and my truck downshifted to fist gear and the speedometer went to zero with the wrench light coming on. The system that malfunctioned was the molded lead frame for the transmission that was a customer satisfaction program with Ford that I was not notified about. My safety was at risk because I was traveling at a high rate of speed before my truck downshifted into first gear. My problem has been confirmed by my local ford dealer and repaired at my own cost. The vehicle has been inspected by my local Ford dealer. No other symptoms prior to the failure.
