NHTSA Complaint #11680639 — 2024 GMC SIERRA 1500

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact attempted to notify the dealer about the issue, but received an automated message that referred the contact to a website. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact then received a letter to call the NTHSA Hotline if the recall repair was not performed in a timely manner. The contact had not experienced a failure.
