Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the daughter reported that the failure was abrupt and there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V524000(Electrical System), however the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was unknown.
