Consumer Description

Per the dealership where we purchased our vehicle, one lifter gave out and damaged the camshaft. Since there are no guarantees if we replace one lifter this will not happen again. We chose to purchase a new engine rather than purchasing a rebuilt engine. I don't know if this qualifies as a safety issue but we were afraid to drive our vehicle. It has now been at the dealership since May 15 waiting for a new engine. The following warnings showed up on our dash: leveling suspension engine failure stability control head on collision Our GMC denali has a 6.2L v8 engine
