Request for Recall Coverage – 2013 Nissan Rogue Select Airbag Issue Dear Sir, I am the original owner of a 2013 Nissan Rogue Select. Recently, I became aware of a recall issued by Nissan North America for certain 2013–2014 Rogue Select vehicles due to an electrical short in the harness connector. This issue is caused by snow/water and salt seeping through the driver's side floor carpet, resulting in the flickering of the driver-side airbag warning light. My vehicle is experiencing the exact symptoms described in the recall notice. However, when I contacted both the Nissan dealership and Nissan North America, I was informed that my vehicle is not included in the affected recall list—even though it is the same model and year, and shows the exact defect identified in the recall. As a senior citizen, I am deeply concerned about the functionality of the airbag system in my vehicle. I rely on the safety features of my car, and I hope that, if ever needed, the airbag would deploy as intended. I respectfully hope that Nissan reevaluates my case and includes my vehicle in the recall repair program, as the issue clearly aligns with the known defect.
