NHTSA Complaint #11667593 — 2022 DODGE DURANGO

I have a daytime running light that went out on the driver-side front. It is an LED light designed to last for 30,000-50,000 hours. I have an estimate of more than $1,700 by Port Lavaca Dodge in PL, TX to replace the light from the dealer. I also purchased an extended warranty but it specifically excludes bulbs. I have also seen at least 2 other Dodge Durangos in our small town with the same bulb out. I have also looked at the complaints on the internet to see that this is not a secluded issue but a real problem. On 6/14/2025, I received a warning ticket #[XXX], from Texas DPS for this defect.
