The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The contact stated the failure had occurred at various speeds. In addition, the contact stated the failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with power steering control module (PSCM) failure. The contact was informed that the power steering control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
