NHTSA Complaint #11660465 — 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

While driving on the interstate suddenly my jeep switched gears I was able to put back in drive and pull over. After pulling over and jeep being put in park it wouldn’t go back into drive, after 3 attempts turning car off and back on again it finally shifted to drive. I was able to at least get home and put it in garage. It now will not go into reverse at all, I try frequently, this happened a few months ago, I also called and reported issue but was never told I had to get online and fill out a form etc. I can’t afford to pay for this big of a repair. It seems this issue has occurred on several 2014 jeeps. This was extremely scary and unsafe to say the least even more so with my kids in the car.
