The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving at highway speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while driving on the highway in the center lane. The contact drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the road, and the vehicle lost motive power. The vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired.
