The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, there was an abnormal squeaking sound coming from the steering wheel while turning. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was determined that an alignment was needed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the vehicle was undrivable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and confirmed there was no warranty coverage on the vehicle for the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.
