NHTSA Complaint #11656549 — 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V530000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the recall repair was performed; however, several days after the recall repair, the vehicle was hesitating while being started. The contact stated that the Battery Charging and Electronic Throttle Control warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 153,000.
