NHTSA Complaint #11654606 — 2023 DODGE DURANGO

Story: This happened to both of my children [XXX] Daughter [XXX] , [XXX] , was reaching into the back of dad’s Dodge Durango to try to get out the groceries She came out of the car, a piece of the tail light that is unnecessarily sharp & protruding , gouged her side and left her bleeding. Now she has a scar from the incident. Car info Lease start [XXX]. Colonial Dodge Hudson. 2023 Dodge Durango Citadel trim Same thing happened to my son [XXX] on [XXX] -he was [XXX] , turning [XXX] During school time, [XXX] was also reaching into dad’s trunk to try to get the groceries out and cut his arm. His arm was bleeding a lot, but I thought it was just a weird mistake. I didn’t think much of it at the time but he currently has a scar from the incident. When it happened again this summer with my daughter, I knew that there is a problem with the design of the car. Can you help?
