Consumer Description
My vehicle is having unexpected downshifts. I was driving approx. 55 mph today and I felt something and saw it downshifted to 2nd gear. I pulled over and turned it off. Didn’t see anything odd under the hood and couldn’t get it to start again until the computer was reset. I googled and found that my year and model vehicle had a recall for this exact problem. Ford is advising that my vehicle has no recalls when I submit my VIN
