NHTSA Complaint #11646135 — 2019 FORD F-150

Engine failure. FoMoCo stated it was due to oil failure. I change my oil every 6000 miles according to manufacturer. I produced records for oil changes and receipts for first 3 oil changes but couldn’t for last 3. Engine had 42,000 miles. Warning light came on stating Temporary Emissions Disconnect but never had anything touched on the engine prior to light. Never found the problem. Engine started bucking and was using oil on return home. Ford dealership found #2 cylinder with no compression. Turbos may have blown and put compromised oil into engine causing issue. Dealership never investigated. Filed pictures, receipts and other documents to Ford Consumer Affairs to no avail. Had to have replaced engine on my dime. Old engine was returned to salvage yard used engine purchased from. Was able to limp back home but engine could have had catastrophic failure on the road. The truck has 50000 mile warranty plus I took out extended warranty (70000).
