NHTSA Complaint #11644497 — 2023 CHEVROLET TAHOE

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to start. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure had occurred on a busy highway. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
