Consumer Description

Still waiting for NHSTA mandated recall work to be completed as part of the bankruptcy settlement from October 2024. I have had to put out considerable time & money out of my own pocket to try and address these issues, even though money was put aside in the bankruptcy settlement. I had to pay out of pocket to travel to 200 miles to meet an approved mobile tech to handle the recall work. I was to pay labor, but the technician did not have the tools to do the pump replacement (#1 recall), his device to test the door handle recall (#2 recall) was not functioning properly, and I had to pay to manually update my software to 2.2 (#3 recall), which did not provide the full update, only the OTA team could provide. For recall #3 (software update 2.2#) I have received 1 part of 3 updates from OTA over 2 months ago with no further update. So far, since the partial update to 2.2 my range has dramatically reduced in cold weather performance. I am getting 20-30% lower range performance than last winter. My real world range on 100% charge is less than 170 miles on a full charge. Less than 50% of EPA rated range. During the time of the OTA update I received in December I had to pay to rent vehicle, because it was to remain untouched for 48 hours while the OTA team completed the work (which they did not complete). I will need to rent another vehicle when they decide to finish completion per the recommendations to have the vehicle hooked up to a 30amp charger and left undisturbed during the 48 hour update window. Recall #2 Door handle safety. Last week my spouse was locked in the vehicle and unable to open from the inside. I had to get out of the vehicle and let them out. I am having to pay for another mobile tech to come out and address this recall. Recall #1 I will have to pay the labor when the mobile tech comes out hopeful in the next month to address pump recall because no funds from the bankruptcy settlement have been given out to approved technicians to address
