The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the camera needed to be reset and the software updated. The vehicle was test-driven. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 10,668.
