NHTSA Complaint #11637895 — 2025 HONDA CR-V

On [XXX], on a vehicle I purchased new only 5 days ago on [XXX] I had an incident where I put the vehicle in reverse to back out of a parking spot and the backup camera came on and I am 100% sure I was in reverse and when I hit the gas I went forward, instead of in reverse. I put it in park and back in reverse and the same thing happen again. Finally, I turned the vehicle off and then it worked properly on the restart. There was some sort of error between the electronics and mechanical parts that was extremely concerning and dangerous, especially traveling with a 1 year old baby in the backseat.
