NHTSA Complaint #11634556 — 2022 JEEP WRANGLER

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds and driving over a bump in the roadway or a pothole, the vehicle experienced a death wobble. No warning light was illuminated. The contact regained control of the vehicle and continued driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was inspected by a technician who noticed an abnormal play in the steering wheel. The inner and outer drag link and steering wheel were adjusted, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.
