NHTSA Complaint #11631091 — 2023 NISSAN ROGUE

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that upon beginning to accelerate from a green light, the vehicle lost automotive power. The contact was able to get off an exit to stop and park the vehicle safely on the side of the road; however, upon attempting to restart the vehicle the vehicle would not restart. The contact stated that the message "Power Failure - Vehicle Stalled - Please See Service". The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
