Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the instrument cluster was flashing several unknown warning lights. The contact stated that the vehicle was towing a 16-foot RV at the time of the failure. The contact stated that the transmission had independently shifted to first gear, nearly causing the vehicle to stall. The contact stated that the failure was a recurring failure and occurred at various speeds. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 73,000.
