NHTSA Complaint #11628235 — 2020 ACURA TLX

The contact owns a 2020 Acura TLX. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact released the accelerator pedal for several seconds, and the vehicle resumed normal operation. The contact attempted to repair the issue by adding fuel cleaner and other products to the engine, but the failure persisted. Upon investigation, the contact discovered and linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 149,000.
