NHTSA Complaint #11625245 — 2022 RAM 1500

The contact owns a 2022 RAM 1500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact depressed the brake pedal, and he was sitting at the stop light when the ABA warning light illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that whenever the vehicle was stopped and sitting for a period of time, the ABS warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure, however the contact was informed that the parts were unavailable. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V653000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000.
