NHTSA Complaint #11624371 — 2024 CHEVROLET BLAZER EV

This may or may not be a true safety issue depending on definition. The charge door will not open some of the time. It starts to open and then closes right a way. Depending on where you are this could be a safety issue in that you could get stuck somewhere not close to any kind of service to get the door open. You could just be in a place that is just not safe to be stranded for a period of time. This problem is preventable. I my case it appears to be dust getting in a switch that causes it not to lower when the door starts to open. It takes me put to 20 times so far to get the door open when I am home with plowing air in side the door during the short time it is partly open. You will find many variations of complained on the issue on the Blazer EV Forum. Here is an example. [XXX] . I am not aware of GM recognizing this problem.
