Consumer Description

The driver's seat shifts towards the right rear when the vehicle accelerates or goes around a left hand turn (i.e. when forces push the driver towards the rear of the vehicle). The driver's seat shifts towards the left front when the vehicle brakes heavily or goes over speed bumps. Kia dealership says this is a known issue with the seat coming out of its track assembly, and confirmed by half a dozen reports on Reddit's Kia EV9 forum [XXX] ).
