Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-350. The contact stated while placing the vehicle in park (P), he observed that the vehicle was rolling back. Additionally, the vehicle was shifting to a lower gear unintentionally. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed and was not repaired. The contact had researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V256000 (Power Train) The manufacturer was informed of the failure but had advised the contact that his VIN was not part of the vehicle VIN selection. The failure mileage was approximately 69,500.
