NHTSA Complaint #11619381 — 2018 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 45 MPH, she observed a noise that resembled air escaping from the passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the diesel particulate matter harness and exhaust manifold needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.
